Default how long to wait b4 subframe connectors?

I'm ready for a new suspension set up. (springs & and shock/struts)

and I also wanted to weld on some SFC from MM full length.

My question is "how long should i wait for the new suspension to settle before welding the SFC on?"

oh yeah, the SFC are coming in before the springs/shocks, can i weld SFC before springs/shocks?

Thanks

Do it all at once. No need to wait.

+1 to do it all at once, if you have a vert btw you have bolt on sub frame connectors all ready but weld in will be better

Thanks that is Good news for me then!!! I have a hard time waiting when mods are coming in.

I ask the question b/c as i was researching, ppl say that new springs take 2wks to settle down and drop to their correct height. My logic is to weld the SFC after the spring settles.

Weld them before. It will tell you if your frame is sagging at all. My frame was sagging when I had mine installed and you could really tell once they were on.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but since the topic is Subframes I figured what is the point in starting another.

I bought these "medium-full length" subframe connectors from like classicmustangparts or something like that. They line up with the bolting points on my coupe, but do not contact the undercarriage all along their length. I am wondering if these need to be heated and bent to match my undercarriage, or if they just need to be welded at the places they do meet metal. I have never really messed with these things before, so it may be a silly question, but I wasn't sure if there was supposed to be places of non-contact like that.

I've heard people say you should wait to align the car, but SFCs can be welded at any time.

on the standard SFCs, they are only welded to the subframes, nothing in between.
