Just another car in the yard. If ya got the money get ya a GT. Plus your car has 175k miles on it. Not worth it to buy it back. Got my 04 v6 for $9,500 with 62,000 miles...yes probably rip off but theres some good mustangs out there for a good price.

Haha jthorn. But I agree, I just bought an 03 v6 with 72000 miles a few months ago for 6k. Of course I came to find out that it needs a new alternator and the engine is pinging, but oh well lol

Sheesh, even 10 years ago when I got my 98 Mustang we never paid that much. We paid $7,000 back in early 04 for a completely Ford rebuilt 98 Mustang. Car had around 40K on it at the time, but the engine was brand new. I racked up around 140K on that car before I got my 5.0. I just pulled a car fax on it out of curiosity and somebody still has it locally.

Yeah I agree with everyone else that the car is not worth it, just get another one. Probably a car twice as nice or maybe with lower mileage at least. I wish you good luck in your search!

Some people just don't know what cars are worth, or are just stubborn. I know someone who paid nearly 3 grand for a 97 jetta that needs about that much put back into it to make nice stock again....

I agree! I brought a reputable mechanic with me to purchase my car though. But I do regrettably admit that I probably payed a bit more than it's worth. Live and learn I guess :\

I wasn't stubborn. They just weren't listening to me. My dad had a Camaro Z28 in 1969 and he should know what to pay for a mustang. I got it at a Subaru dealer. There is your problem right there. lol
