i now have all the turbo components in place, i just want to know if there is a way to adjust the boost on an IHI turbo and how high will it go?

i'm sure there is a way...i'm not familiar with the IHI's though. either way, you're going to control it from the wastegate. there are a couple things you can do. #1 get a boost controller (TurboXS, if you want the cheap manual one...i had it on my 280zx, works good...or there's quite a few electronic one's out there for 3x as much). #2 whichever wastegate you're using, you should be able to change the spring inside of it to keep it from opening as soon (the wastegate is used to control boost by pressure built up in it. once it hits a certain psi, the "gate" opens and redirects the air. you can change the spring inside so that it takes more pressure to open the "gate")...good luck man, turbo's are the best.</P>


ps-as for how high it will go...you'll have to call IHI about your particular part #, cause like i said...i'm not familiar with them...i have heard good things about them though.</P><edited><editID>FiveOhNo</editID><editDate>37972.5546875</editDate></edited>
