Exclamation Convertible Top Will Not Go Up

My convertible top goes down fast and smooth. But when its time to go back up, it struggles and wines. I usually have to have someone get out and help it go up. Has anyone heard of similar problems?? Maybe its low on hydraulic fluid?? Or maybe the motor is shot?? Its alot of work to get access to everything, so i was curious if anyone might know what is wrong.

Any imput is appreciated, i need to get this fixed before the summer time!
- Thanks a lot guys

Sounds like low fluid. I think you have to take the back seat out to get to it.

Back seat does not need to come out, just have to pop that vinyl top well piece behind the back seats from around the outside edges and you can see the pump.

Your right, i removed the seats and added more fluid. The top goes up fine, hopefully it stays working the way it is!

Unfortunately when the fluid is low it's because it is leaking out.
And the likely culprit is the seals in the hydraulic cylinders.

I suggest finding a hydraulic repair shop as the cylinders are no longer available.
