Yeah maybe I will give that a try for a while. Is it still a bad idea to use my current mustang though?

Your mustang should be alright for road race, grab some aftermarket rear control arms, a rear sway bar from a gt and some stiffer springs, then replace the sway bar bushings up front and it will be a completely different beast than what your used to. I'd suggest buying a cheap set of factory rims from Craigslist or whatever and get some good sticky track use only tires so you don't tear up your daily tires. Throw a ratchet shifter and a shift kit and you can control the gears decently well for road racing purposes. Pop out the back seat and front passenger seat and spare tire on track days to lose a good bit of weight as well.

Wow thank you so much BabyGT! I know about cars some what but I am definitely going to need some major help on this one haha. just a couple questions, In what ways will it be a different beast? Will I need to put anything in it to increase power? Thanks again though!

Less understeer, way more responsive handling, won't lean near as much in a turn, it will make it way more fun to drive, I've done all this minus the shift kit and taking out seats since its my daily and it's a blast to drive to work and back compared to stock.

Awesome! I'm gonna have some fun with this one. It's gonna take some time to get the car where it needs to be but I'm ready! I swear I'm the only girl in my entire area that gives a damn about car and racing haha

Thank you! Just one more questions, Would putting a wing (spoiler) on it be worth it?

That's dependent on the speeds you will be hitting and the kind you buy, but I'm gonna say for the most part not really, it's gonna be mostly looks.

Not looks. It gonna look like a ricer and people wont appreciate it as a mustang.
