So the car I bought has a "BOMZ Racing" cold air intake and knowing the guy who I bought it from the filter hasn't been change in about 4 years and shows it I can only find really old posts about this brand and I can't find them through a quick google. Anyone have a suggestion on what I should use as a replacement filter? Can I use any filter that has the same dimensions? I would prefer to use KN just so I can reuse the filter and I don't mind the extra work or cleaning it properly.

It is really dirty, I wasn't joking about the guy before not cleaning for a long time. I guess I will try cleaning and start looking for a replacement.
Should I clean it like I would my k&n filter. Wash dry oil?

 

Clean the filter with a K&N recharge kit or if it's too badly gone or can't be cleaned (which is a problem with the Bomz) then buy a K&N filter (or other) with the same diameter opening for the tube.
