Default 3.8 issues please help

So I bought my wife a 2001 ford mustang v6 auto. Shortly afterwards I ran a can of seafoam through it and the fuel pump and filter messed up. We had a mechanic repace it and then had to fix the clip that connects the fuel pressure sensor in. Well it has run bad ever since.

At first start it misses bad for a few sec then lines out. when you throttle on it it stumbles then goes. Its had codes ever since we had to replace the fuel pump. One of the codes is p0420 the other is a bad speed sensor on the right wheel. It also is throwing the evap code and the check gas cap. I replaced the gas cap. I hate to just throw money at this thing.

sorry to hear this Yeah I have heard some scary things about seafoam.

from my experiences, the best thing to do is take it to a Ford dealer and have them check it out just to get the proper diagnosis of what is wrong (prolly will cost~70$) then go to a trusty shop to fix the problem. You already replaced the fuel pump and things so I am guessing you have spent close to a thousand dollars already O.o

But yeah I think its best to get the right diagnosis then getting it fixed rather then guessing and changing what 'may' be the problem....i wish you luck and hope it gets fixed and good to go asap. and forget the wife man this mustang is for YOU!!!

Personally I'd never seafoam a car. Its not made for a car and it can do some strange things to them. Im not sure it really has any benefits even.
