Having trouble tracking down Power Steering leak.
While I'm addressing some maintenance issues on my daily driver, I've been commuting in our '01 Mustang.
It's been leaking power steering fluid, and rather quickly too. It gets low enough to start whining about every 150 miles. There are signs of fluid in the general area of the pump and hoses (incl. drivers inner fender and K-member)... but no obvious signs of the leak. I had my wife turn the wheel back and forth for a while with the engine on while I looked all over for leaks, it didn't leak a drop. When it is sitting there parked, no leak.
Any thoughts?

It is nearly impossible to track down an oil leak if the area is covered in oil/dirt. Clean it up as well as you can with some brake parts cleaner & simple green. Once it is clean, take it for a good long drive, park it and then look for leaks while its still warm/hot. Often times leaks don’t appear until the fluid is warmed up and therefor thinner. Good luck…
