What year is the engine, if its really old it might not even be worth it. You may have to rebuild it (which means 347 stroker ) and depending on the year, if its stock and carberated, it prob will only put down a little bit more than a split port 6.

maybe just buy a performance v6 engine from some racing site or w/e online? then maybe u can get an exchange and save some more money and not have to worry about changin the rear end, a/c,all that bs ?
i wanted to switch mine from a 6 to an 8 cylinder as well but ive seen guides to doing it and such online and it is Definately not worth it, even if ur all mechanically inclined...it would cost hella much and thats just for conversion kits and such...u would definately have to do it urself and it would prolly take a long while-would be a nice accomplishment to come back here in the future though with it completed and if u do decide to do it....i wanna see some pics of before, during, and after...lol actually...go for it!

Whats with the porsche sn? You got one/had one? One thing you guys have to do on single ports is convert to split port, that adds about 50 HP.
