Default Rear Wheel Well Rot

Im getting some rear driver side wheel well rot. Im gonna sand it down and repaint it this weekend. Just curious if anyone else has had this issue...

I too have some minor "rust / rot" in that area but I live in Canada and the car was likely winter driven in the past and I am also now driving it in the winter so...

As you are in Jersey, I assume you get some snow and obviously moisture from the Ocean so I would assume this would be normal for you to get eventually especially form the salt water moisture.

Ya... Sadly anywhere there is any "real moisture" you are likely to get some rust and rot. Especially with the salty water of the ocean.

It sucks but I guess its the climate we choose to live in (You: Salt Water, some snow, etc. Me: 6 months of Winter, slush, ice and snow).
