Well you'll need around $4,000-6000 minimum to do it right. Check the stickies, there's tons of info on this but basically depending on how "fast" you wanna go you're looking at a high boost super charger, forged block, ported heads, cam work, upgraded transmission, upgraded suspension, etc. Oh, and you're daily driveability will be terrible as MPG and even reliability will be non existent compared to stock or other options.
Basically if you want power and the reliability you have now, sell your car and get a car with the performance levels you want. Much cheaper, much smarter, much more efficient.
