I currently own a 99 v6 automatic and am looking for a swap, I can get a 97 3800 series for cheaper than a brand new tranny, will this fit with relatively little work on my end or am I just going to have to go from scratch? Or what's the best way to go?

 

It's all computer controlled, you will need to find the same model trans for the car otherwise your gonna have a bunch of tuning and wiring to do. Another choice would be to just throw in a t-5.....
