My car recently started acting weird. It runs perfectly fine when driving normal, but if for some reason I need to get on it and drive hard, I am getting weird power dips.

The car seems to accelerate fine up until about 3200 rpms. After that its almost like the fuel mixture gets screwed up and it starts running with less power(power dips). If I keep on it and get to about 3500+, my battery light comes on. I dont know if these problems have anything to do with each other, but this is annoying.

Any ideas what could be causing this.

The oil was changed 1.5k miles ago. The spark plugs were changed. The plug wires were changed. I cleaned my MAF the other day. Still same problem.

 

Either a sensor is giving you issues or you have a blown headgasket.
