Question Electrical hiccup while driving?

Hey. Thanks for reading.
02 Mustang V6

While driving on the highway, I noticed my radio would reset. It would blink out for a split second, then turn back on.

It happened a few times, then my whole car did it. All things electrical just shut off including the engine. I instantly clutch it and no more than 2 seconds later she starts back up and doesn't miss a beat. It's happened now about 3 times. While it always starts back up, I don't want the problem to get any worse.

Do you know what's going on?
Thanks!

Possibly a dying battery, dying alternator, or just dirty/corroded grounds or power wires. Try cleaning the battery posts and cable ends really good and make sure they are nice and tight.

loose connection possibly, check the battery and alternator cables to start, might want to check the ignition wires in the steering column. no promises that those are the problem, but it is a good start I think.
electrical problems suck, sorry you are having issues :/
Good luck.

Thanks for the replies. That has to be the problem.

You probably have it fixed by now. I had the same thing. I cleaned the battery terminals. I used heavy grit sandpaper and got rid of the gray/black residue, etc. where the battery polls go into and tightened up everything. My theft light had been flashing all the time and all those things you mentioned.
