Dome Light Won't Come On

Dome Light Won't Come On

I have a 2000 Mustang and the dome light only comes on when the passenger door is open. When I open the driver's door the light won't come on. Is there a sensor that could be stuck and how do I fix that?

Near the door hinges is a small plunger, this tells the car if the door is open or closed. Make sure its not stuck pushed in.
