Well, the first thing I did is make a few changes to get my launch. 4:10 gears, possi, 2600rpm torque converter, trango shift kit and a dual stage Diablo chip to reset my shift points and limiters.
Now I can launch about as hard as a manual and shift faster and firmer than a manual. When I'm racing around, I turn off my trac lock and over drive. I shift at around 6200rpm and never let it drop below 4000rpm.
One very important thing to remember, when you own an automatic trans and you sport shift, make sure to change your fluid and filter twice as often and your trans will last the life of your car.

I've never taken it to a track, but I'd bet my 60' is better than most V6 Stangs.

Well I pulled some 2.30's with my stock rear-end and stock tires so you should get some nice #'s.

uh, isnt redline 5500?

Turn off O/D and trac control, O/D also effects the ECU, not just the extra gear, i havent figured out a good way to launch an auto, i tried holding it hard with the break but the rear tires just cut loose

I reset mine to 6300 and I need to bump it to 6500. Also, I have possi and 275/35/18's on the rear, so I get off the lone pretty fast. I need to install my top end stuff now and my acceleration response will improve dramatically.
