Default Convertible roof alignment?

I have a 1995 Mustang Convertible and the roof is way out of alignment with the locking bracket on the top of the window frame.

What's the best way to go about fixing it? It looks like it's only off by a couple inches at most.

I can get it to fold down all the way, but getting it into a locked position takes several people to push it to where it needs to be.

Thanks in advance!

I had the same problem with my 2002 Mustang the frame for the convertible top was bent, if that's the case if you can find the part that's bent you can either replace it or try to bend it back. It fixed the problem for me, hope this helps

Thanks man! at some point I'm going to remove the cover and replace it with one that has a new window, so that'll give me the opportunity to inspect the frame while I'm at it.
