OK, I ordered 17x9's yesterday. I got the cheapest tires I could find: Hancook (I think) 275_40_17? They said that was the size the cobra's came with. But my question is is will they be the same overall size as my V6's 16" wheels? I think it has 225's but I'm not sure bout the sidewall.
275-40-17 size tires will be 25.66" tall. Can you go check your sidewall height?

I can figure out how tall your 225-xx-16s will be, I'd imagine they're 55 series (since that's the stock size on V6s) which would mean the entire combination you have now is 25.74" tall, which would actually make the 275-17s shorter by .08 inches.
James, you are a freeeking plethora of info. [sm=smiley20.gif]

Speaking of tires... I need to buy new set of tires soon before I learn how to drift. I did one too many burnouts for past three months, and I got it on tape!

Not sure how fast you 6ers run, but the H rated is probably just fine. The Z rated tires are for go fast cars. Goodyear, IMO makes the best tires for our ponies.

Yeah, I don't think I'm ever gona be going over 135mph in my car. I don't even know that it can go that fast. I've only had it up to like 102-ish.

I'm too lazy to figure that out today. Give us an example using newmex as the example.

I'm too lazy to scroll to the 1st page to see what speed rating he has now.
