Default Broken engine

Hey so firstly this is my first post ever here so if it’s in the wrong spot feel free to do whatever is necessary.

Now my issue is that I had a coolant leak from the lower intake gasket. I fixed that and got the entire car back together. However that’s where my real trouble began. It missed and shook and clanked like a bucket of bolts bouncing in a dryer. So I started doing some digging and upon removing the driver side valve cover where all the noise was coming from, I found a quarter size hole between the second and third push rod. I believe I have other issues because with the oil cap off and engine compete, it just dumps smoke out. So I guess after all this rambling I know I’m going to do a rebuild but I’m wanting to spruce it up a little bit as well. I was thinking about doing the split port swap since I need a head as one has a hole in it but I was also thinking about the 4.2 stroker setup At the same time but I get lost on if I need a computer from a donor vehicle or if I would Be better off trying to find someone to tune the factory computer. I know I kind of went all over the place but I want this thing to have a good bit of go when I get the engine put back in so whatever info anyone is willing to give would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you all in advance!!
