Ok this kid at my school just got a 94-95 Gt convertable, 5.0 of course 5speed odd for this loser but what ever the point of this post is will I win?? I mean my car weighs a good 450 less than his but his car has 215 hp and 285 tq. and mine has 190 hp and 220 tq. mine also has less miles on her and i know how to drive better than he does. Do you think honestly I have any chance. O also look in my sig. for my MINOR mods.

 

what type of race is it? curves, straight, what? and it all depends, does he have a short shifter? and also, its a 5.0 GT, so ummmm, it boils down to your track....

 

pretty sure you will lose if he can drive and his car is in good shape.
none of your mods give you any more HP.

 

yah, the big thing is race track and driver skill, but if its just a brute force race, ur dead....

 

I was talking bout just a straight drag on the street, no he doesnt have any mods and his car is not perfect but I am not gonna lie and say it is horrible cuz it is just alright. Also he is a Terrible driver, this is is first manual and he is still learning on it, which I feel bad bout cuz it just snowed today. Of course I wont be racing him til spring so ya never know I may have a diablo by then maybe for christmas.

It's a drivers race against a manual 5.0. Vert is heavier so as long as you don't miss a shift you will either keep up with or beat him.

 

he has a huge torque advantage over you though, if u had some more mods then id say ud take him but ur pretty much stock....as long as he doesnt miss a shift, hell prolly win it (not by a whole lot, but hell still win)...

anyways just race him and find out ...good luck

 

I cant race him for a while now cuz there is snow ont he ground now it sucks I just wanted to know how close it would be
I want to do more to my car I am working a ton and trying to pay her off and pay for everything else at the same time it is just hard but hopefully after christmas I will have some money to throw into it.

 

you should be able to take him, hes got 2.73 gears and weighs a little more, its more of a drivers race, and race him on half a tank of gas and take out the jack and spare tire.
