Default horn problems

anybody know where the horn is located?? i was honking at some idiot the other day and all of a sudden it quit working, and now all it does is make a wussy noise. anybody know what the problem may be?

hmmmm... I really have no idea. I dont use my horn. When somebody cuts me off or pulls out in front of me I just rev my engine very high.

According to Haynes, you have to remove the left front fender splash cover. It's behind it.

yeah i found it, but have no idea why it doesn't sound normal. all the wires are hooked up. i wonder if one of them went bad.

you know where the ground wire may be?? the horns are in such an akward place it is hard to see them and mess with them.

Ground wires on horns are usually tied in with one of the mounting bolts. Find the mounting bolts you'll find the ground wire on one of them.
