I say get some chrome 17x10.5 mach 1 rims for the rear. Then just 17x9 for the front's. That way you can have some big tires in the rear.

No, don't get different size tires for front/back...That prevents you from rotating and you will be buying new tires sooner than usual. Regardless go with 18's...They just look better. As long as you don't go get the something with spinners or those ugly a$$ wheels that keep spinning when you stop...you really can't go wrong....

you want wider tires in the back. helps out a lot with traction.

the difference in traction isnt worth buying new tires more often....It does nothing for looks. And as we all know, Mustangs handle poorly in snow, and sometimes even rain. Having wider rear tires will not change that enough to be worth it.

Wider tires in the rear makes the car look a lot better. The look of seeing some wide tires from the rear of my car is worh not being able to rotate.

ok, you're only taking about 15-20 K worth of tire life off your tires, but if that's what you prefer.......enjoy that.
