the difference in traction isnt worth buying new tires more often....It does nothing for looks. And as we all know, Mustangs handle poorly in snow, and sometimes even rain. Having wider rear tires will not change that enough to be worth it.
with the 255/50/16s on the back wheels over the 245/50/16s i used to have i picked up 0.10 second at the strip and 1.9 seconds at road atlanta. nothing but a tire change

doesnt change the fact that you're shortening the life of the tire.....and good tires aren't exactly cheap these days.....10K miles may not seem like a big deal, but over time you end up spending more than ncessary.

Wider wheels in the back look bad a$$!!! If you want to be unique go with boyd cottington smoothie II wheels those are bad a$$. I was thinkin about gettin them but I came across my torq thrusts which look similar for hella cheap. The boyds are kinda pricey tho, ull prolly spend that 3k and not have much $$ left but it'll look like HOT SEECC!!!!! These are the ones im talkin about... there on a bug which looks like shiZ but look at the wheels and picture them on a stang!!!
