it's real. it's called "Endurance High Gloss tire shine". I obtained a few free samples years ago (haha, actually, like an entire box) and I fell in lov ewith it. it lasts about a week or two, which is better than armorall or other stuff I've tried. and it smells just like grape jelly. it's like a gel type liquid.

the clay bar gets rid of all the little tiny dirt/dust/bird **** particles that get ground into your paint. if you go wash your car and slide your finger on the paint, you'll feel a bunch of really tiny bumps. the clay bar will get rid of these bumps, and in turn will keep your paint lasting longer (according to the clay bar makers). I've used the mother's one with the mother's instant detailer, and it worked well, but it take a long *** time to do your entire car. also, the mother's stuff smells like cinnamon, so after you claybar and shine the tires, your car will smell like a bakery.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm grape jelly and cinnamon...[sm=drooldude.gif]

Get the Meguiars Claybar...seriously its the greatest thing EVER. I never really used it and was a doubter that it would be so "mindblowing" as so many people told me. Well when Meguiars sponsored me...they sent me 2 boxes of the clay bar and I said what the hell its free (its like 25 or something so I never wanted to "risk" it). I washed the car and clayed it...OMFG!!! You think your paint is smooth as glass now? NOT A CHANCE! When you put this detailer spray on and scrub with the clay and then wipe offf its SERIOUSLY smoother than glass. Then you HAVE TO wax it (as the clay bar kinda removes the first layer of protection to the 'good' layer)....with the clay bar and the wax....OMG its orgasmic.

Let's just say my fiancee and I just got a 2006 Ford Escape. She felt her paint before and I have to say it was of course pretty smooth...I clayed the car door for her and when she came back you can rest assured you wanted the ENTIRE CAR to be clayed and actually did one full half of the car bc she loved it sooooo much, THAT should tell you something!! LOL The paint turned out so much nicer....and the wax almost FALLS right off bc all the contaminents are removed!

It takes off the layer to the good stuff, is that like part of the clear coat? Is that ok? So then you HAVE to wax vigilantly from then on? I'm not doubting you, just wondering And you said you got two bars...let me test the second[8D]

No..I mean it takes off the layer of CRAP and GRIME you have on the paint now...BELIEVE ME IT IS THERE you just can't see it. So it opens up the "pores" so to speak (like your skin) when it cleans the crap off...so you have to wax is to protect it again....you HAVE TO wax it. NO NO....totally the opposite...once you do the clay bar the paint is VERY smooth so when you go to wax it and wipe it on and let it dry, when you go to wipe it off it comes off MUCH MUCH easier and faster than if you didn't use the claybar.

BUY IT...TRUST ME

Well I used to use the Gold Class right before I got sponsored and got the NXT (i am so lazy haha). The gold class is great...but the NXT is the NEWEST revelation of their waxes. This one is easier to take off and doesn't leave rubber areas, panels with a WHITE residue. The NXT is a light white color and flakes off very nicely...where the gold class is a SOLID WHITE area that you have to more RUB off....

I was using that meguiars cleaner wax paste, but it was hard to get off cuz wax beads would buid up all over the rags, you think I was using too much? Anyways I decided to get Gold Class liquid that maybe it was easier to get off.
