Default SCT Install QUESTION

it says to disconnect the FUEL and ELECTRIC FAN fuses first. then select the file type to load and press select. then turn key on when prompted (do i turn the car on or just like make one turn of the key?). Then it says to make changes to program and stuff but doesn't say when to put the fuses back in? So do you know when I do that?

Make a phone call. There has to be an 800 tech line. Diablo has one.

well no 1 800 number but I found an updated manual on their site. It says they had gotten a lot of complaints about the regular manual not being detailed enough.

You do not need to remove the fuses....that is recommened only if you're gonna change your tune often or if you have a pre 1999. They say remove the fuses so it wont drain your battery, but if you're only gonna download the tune then leave it alone it isn't necessary to remove the fuses. When you turn the key just turn it until the radio comes on, DO NOT START IT!!! then you're ready to download the tune or make changes to your settings
