3.9L Horsepower/torque ratings?
I have a 2004 Mustang I just got with the 3.9L V-6. I was just curious what the stock horsepower/torque ratings were at the crank?
Also would a MAC cold air intake and a GT takeoff with a magnaflow cat back be a good place to start for mods? Roughly how much real world horsepower should that net me?

specs are the same for the 3.8, A CAI and an exhaust, would probably give you 10 rwhp at the most, i would say go with flowmasters though. You might be able to get a little bit more if you dont do GT take-offs and get an actual exhaust system.

I guess I thought it had a little more power than that, the salesman lied to me! *GASP*. He told me it had around 260hp..... Oh well, it still has some get up and go to it regardless of HP ratings.
And as far as the exhaust I found a kit on some website that has the true dual conversion for the V-6 so you can run a aftermarket GT exhaust. That's what I was planning on doing. Although I'm not sure what brand to get, I just want to make sure it's all stainless steel.
