battery lights help

Default battery lights help

i have a quick ? when i hit a about 3000 RPM's my battery light comes on and the lights dim down. im thinking it needs a new alternator but im not sure any advice our suggestions would help. i got a 1999 5-spd it only has about 55,000 miles on it thanks guys.

my alternator went out at around 60,000 miles. it started the way you are saying, but it could also be a bad connection. you can get it checked out, don't know how, but it can be done.

try cleaning the battery terminals first.
