I wouldn't go over a 75 shot without doing something with the internals.

Harvey,

Let's just say a COMPANY wanted to sponsor my car with a shot of nitrous on top of the blower...what would you say would be a good safe shot for it?

Don't know about yours. You've reworked the engine pretty much. 100-125...maybe...

What's NX? You know, Nanaki is the juice guru here. He can answer the questions better than I can.

Nitrous Express (NX) I believe one of the best kits out there.

properly tuned a stock 3.8 will be fine with a 125shot. you just can't slap a 125 shot on without tuning and get away with it like most people do with a 50-75 shot. you have to use the coldest plugs you can find. i have found Denso Iridium IT-20's are a good nitrous plug

the best bet would to not go beyond a 100 shot just to ensure that the gas you thought was 93 octane in the tank was only about 89-91. detonation is the enemy with stock pistons. they can't handle much of it

forged rods and pistons and a good tune, i don't see why a 200 shot wouldn't be fine

i may add a 150 shot to my blower after i get everything back together

Hell even with my forged block I would never hit over 100hp shot...thats just plain stupid and asking for problems unless its for the track only
