Default V6 price

My girlfriend wants a mustang and i found a V6 at a local dealership. Its an 02' Auto with 50k miles, good shape the price they are asking is 8,900 is this a good price or do ya think i could get it for less, best price i have seen so far around Buffalo NY, thanks

That price sounds good... but manual tranny V6s are usually a little cheaper... and better performers.

yes manuals go for a bit cheaper but if you want an auto that does sound like a pretty good price...miles are kinda high though.

What you want is 12,000 miles per year

12 x 3 (being that 06 just started) is 36,000 miles...so its about 1 year ahead in miles. BUT you can do 15,000 miles per year MAX to play it safer......and that is 15 x 3 comes to 45,000....so its still in the OK zone. Ask about the miles, hopefully it was used to commute to work by the previous owner (freeway miles are best). Hopefully you get a warranty and all?

thanks.. yeah it would be cheaper for a manual, but u ever try to teach a girl that? lol yeah i think it comes with a warranty, it comes form a reputable Ford dealership.

I got my 00 with 78K for $4500. so yea I agree shop around a bit and see if you cant find a private seller, they are easier to talk down

but u dont have the guarantee from the ford dealership. used car lots will feed u bs so make sure u check everything out urself

That's a decent price, but just see if you can't talk them down to about $7500 because it is an auto and I warn you, it will be slow as hell.
