Is it worth getting headers? It will probable make for a little better sound and some more hp but how much would it set me back? I have a BBK cai and the BBK headers are pretty good but as for as the size and make i really have no clue on where to look!

You really won't get anything as far as performance since the stock manifolds can handle all our V6's have to offer...unless you supercharge or something.

the stock v6 headers are good till about 300 hp , then you might think about changing them

Well if you're doing the whole exhaust then I would reccommend getting the headers done, that way you don't have to pay double like I'm going to have to to get a set of headers installed in the future. No they won't add but maybe 3 hp, and they woun't give you that much of a deeper tone, but they do quicken throttle responce a hair, and they are really good at keeping your engine bay cool. Try to get a set of ceramic coated headers, they don't discolor and they are the best at keeping your engine cool and if you have cats they keep the outgoing air hotter so that when the air enters the cats it takes less time to heat up therfore allowing more airflow. Depending on what brand you get, I reccommend JBAs over all other brands, you're looking at about $275-350 plus installation which would be about $150 with an exhaust system added whith the headers.

Get headers after you do all the regular bolt ons...they are not really worth it until you make lots of hp

They are, but Erick really means is that they won't do much for you unless you have a high powered engine as the stock headers on V6s work just fine, but my point is, that if you're going to do those mods, or if you just want a slightly more effiecent engine, then get headers and get it over with, that way if you get them in the future you don't have worry about having to pay for two installations.
