Well you have a 5 sp which gives you a big advantage over her auto, so you'll win, but if she had an auto and was a decent shifter things would be different.

i think you mean 5 speed, and the maros have practically no difference between the auto and stick, and harv, ive driven f-bodies before, they already hadel alot better then the stangs so he could probably skin by without suspention upgrades

try camaroforums.com, one of our sister sites they will probably know what they are talking about a little bit better

about those...i was considering ordering some irridium plugs. how much of a diff. do they actually make?
Not much diference, BUT, Irridium's are a longer lasting plug. They're suposed to last 90,000 miles.

EDIT>>
If you really want to wake up the Camaro, go with underdrive pulleys, gears and a tuner.
When did you become a Camaro tech?

I'm a general Tech. I've worked on just about everything. Remember Jon, I used to run 5 shops.....

General repair shops. But we did get a few guys who had us do some performance mods. Precision Tune Auto Care shops.

Yup. Nationwide. I just wish there was one here. I could have transfered.
They used to be called Accu-Tune and Brake. If that rings a bell.
