i dont mean to discourage you, but most bolt on mods for na 2.3's are just a waste of money unless you do them yourself, and even then it's questionable if it's worth the effort. about the only worthwhile mods you could do is a cheap header maybe a cold air intake (home made) with k&n type filter and a roller cam from a 91-93 4 cylinder mustang or a dual plug ranger 4 cylinder. you'll need the followers also because it's a roller cam.

in my opinion, most things other than those would be dropping big bucks for hard to justify gains. the next step would be to think about a 2.3 turbo motor or 5.0 swap

Didn't say to use it as a parts place. They have a link there for a 2.3 ford webring. Loads of advice.

here is a web site that shows you how to put a Turbo 2.3 in your car and there are tons of performance parts for that.

Engine swap. You can add bolt ons all you want, but you wont make much worth of power untill you either:

A) Stroke it out
B)Nitrous it and hope it lives
3)Swap in a turbo 2.3L engine and mod it
R)Swap in another engine
