im trying to upgrade my 97 v6, and im wondering what is the best computer programming set-up to add HP and change my rev limiter and speed govenor. what is you guys have and what is your input on what you run?

I would recommend either an SCT tuner ( I dont know if they make one for your year its what i have but i dont know much about them all i know is that it gave me a hell of alot more hp and tq then the preditor did) but if they dont you could always go with a preditor tuner....I have one on ebay if you want to check it out

it was a pre-made tune that was done on a 02 mustang with cat back exhaust...he said that that car gained 26 hp and 30 tq...i dont know what it did for me

and by the way that thing about running low 14s was bs i raced a 87 mazda rx7 turbo tonight and only beat it by a car length so im like 14.9-15.0.

I looked up what they run stock and it said 15.2...so im sorta guessing

yeah at the place they dyno cars and save the tunes and just basically sell the tunes over and over....but yeah i experienced a hell of alot more gain then i did with the preditor

I didn't feel much power gain at all from my tune...only shifting improved.[>:]
