new pads = squeaking...?
I just got new pads about a week ago, and the ones i had before never made any nosie at all, but now that i got new ones they squeak like crazy. is there any way i can fix this besides getting new/better pads??[sm=outcold.gif]
it depends on brand and how long uv had them on some dont squeek at all some squeek for like the first coupl days and yes their is anti squeek compounds but it can only be use on certain brands iv heard it can brak down some pads because of a reaction between the gel and the pad material
i would take everything back apart and grease everything metal to metal except the pad to the rotor of course...i bet that will stop ur problems...ur rotors may need to be turned also

Isn't there an anti squeal compound you're supposed to use on one side of the brakes before you put them in to prevent them from sqealing? Did you use that? [&:]
