thinking about selling out....
Nope, not the 6, but the Bullitt. I've torn out the entire interior, dash and all, and it looks like it's going to be a pretty easy project, but the M112 and the release of the 2008.5 Bullitt are making me reconsider. Looking at Ebay and what a lot of mustangs in pretty bad shape go for I think I can get rid of this and make a reasonable bit on it. I think I'll ask around $6k for it. I mean it only has 19k on it and the engine and tranny are in good shape with new wiring and everything. There's no rust other than the brake rotors and all the parts are readily available.
What do you guys think?

yea why the sudden decision? Maybe im just behind on times why did you rip the interior out?I sure wishI could buy it from you. I would in a heart beat. What all needs to be done too it?
no it was a Katrina car that got for dirt cheap, but it had already had a lot of retoration done to it and I was gonna finish it. I started gutting the interior because it all needed to go and be replaced. My original plan was to completely disassemble her and start from the ground up, making sure it was all original Ford parts and fully documenting everything for value further down the road, I can have it done by summer for about $8k total investment. I just have really been anticipating the 08.5 Bullitt and I also want to do the 4.3 M112 with a built tranny and rearend. I can afford to do it all, just over a longer time period. If I take my time with the 6er, I may miss the shootout, but I can have my new Bullitt. If I do keep this Bullit, then I will be on the hunt for 2008.5 Bullitt #03353 to match mine, but I have yet to hear wether or not their going to number them and I'd hateto get one in black with the same number. If I get rid of this Bullitt, I will just buy the new one and start looking for another 01 later on. Iwant to build a 68, and have the 01 and 08.5 all together, with at least 2 having matching production numbers and all 3 green. The 68 I can do 10 years from now if I want so I'm in no big hurry for it just that 08 really has me excited, almostt as much as making the 6er a termi killer.
Decisions decisions.

uhhhhhhhhhh my vote, do the build, drain all fluids out of the bullet, park it in a garage and hope that in 30 years the value has gone up more then what a slightly glorified GT now goes for[8D]
As it is Bullitt go for faaaaaar more than GT's. There are Bullitts on ebay with less than 4k miles and tehy'll most likely sell in the low 20's, about what you would expect for aTermi with the same mileage. The Mach 1's are really not holding value as well as they should but I think it's because of the Termi's and nothing more. I know a guy with a Mach with literally 1800 miles on it and he will never sell it.
Look at how much an old 289 mustang that's all stock is worth in fully restored condition, it was a $2-3k car when it was originally introduced. There's no way to know what it'll be worth but it'll still be fun to have many years down the road.
