Busted, but pulled over by cop from another county

The fact is, he clocked you at 91 in a 65 in his area, and you MUST APPEAR in court for that.

Im sorry that he pulled you over, but man 91 i mean dont you think thats to fast on a road? Even if theres no other cars around there stills lots of hazards. Sounds like your first time and you prolly(hopefully) made a mistake. I would go with a lawyer any time court is involved just because they know what there doing.
Good luck and slow down!

On a former (bad day) ticket experience, I discovered that my local county attorney also had a law practice on the side. For a nominal fee (approx. 2 hrs) he met with me in his office & made a couple phone calls to the other county attorneys my tickets were written in (long story short, 2 speeding tix clocked from the same plane, written by the same state trooper over 1/2 hour apart in 2 different counties). He was able to get 1 ticket dropped entirely in return for a guilty plea on the other, and got me a 'meet & greet' with the trooper, who agreed to reduce the 2nd ticket (with the blessing of the 2nd county attorney) before the court date. Any ticket can be revised by any officer (or prosecuting attorney) before, or during, the scheduled court date.
I know it may seem like an expensive hassle, but it will save you money in the long run (reduced insurance & likelyhood of more tix vs. warnings on down the road) and be useful experience to fight this ticket ... you never know until you go down that road --you may be able to 'consult' with the county prosecutor directly (withouta 3rd party lawyer)& get the ticket reduced before your court date. Simply sending in the money is giving up on the opportunity to turn the tables on this bad experience.
You have nothing to lose & everything to gain by pursuing 'other options'.
