Good news: Im getting $13,000 from insurance, just had a new engine installed so that added $5,000 to the cars value.

Bad News: They didn't let me take anything off the car, including my aftermarket sub, amp, deck and speakers. If I put the stock sound system back in, they said they would have to re-evaluate the price of the car, and I wouldn't get as much back, but I sold the stock system so no luck there.

Only thing that im going to sell is the GT side scoops. I will post it in the For Sale section in a couple weeks.

Damn. That is a nice chunk of money to get back from a V6. What kind of vehicle are you looking next?

 

did you report the stereo to the ins company? if not then you can take it back, but if you had it insurend then you do have to leave it, but for 13k it sounds like its worth it
