Why V6?
he didnt say wheels, so ill give him the benifit of the doubt that he could of had the motor built and dynoed on a engine dyno (matthockey style) if he has a graph of 500ish RWHP (oh the higher side)... or what i would really like is a 10/9 second time slip
Obviously you know nothing of power, 100 pounds more makes the world of difference, take for instance the srt-4 this car is nothing in comparison to the power developed by the 350z or many other cars for that instance, but at stock the srt-4 is a sure beat, not just by stats but by seeing it with my own two eyes...in the world of racing weight makes a hell of a difference, whatever one can do to shave a extra pounds, one does....so i stand by my comment, the v6 is faster, because it is simply lighter, and the displacement between the v6's and the v8's are not large, thus the v8, in my opinion is a waste of time, but that's just me. I dyno'd at 600 horses with my V6 and that's on budget...
or a dyno ~
Why did I get a v6?
I didn't start driving till my senior year, and when I did, I had a ****ty beat up baby blue 95 metro. 3cyl, 1L, manual. Alittle embarrasing as you could imagine back in the day. I was looking for a new car and a coworker said he saw a nice stang. Went and checked it out. It was clean, decent paint, no problems. It didnt really bother me that it was a v6 becuase look what I was used to! It felt like a luxury car driving home compared to my metro.
I think alittle different now though. With gas prices the way they are, I'd rather have my metro back than the stang. It's also very slow, and many people hold stangs in a higher bracket ("Hey, I thought Mustangs were supposed to be fast?"). It's ok, but I hate having a car much slower than a v8 and also uses more gas than a v8...

"Hmm, retard the timing? That sounds cool. I'll talk about it online and pretend to know my stuff!"
I absolutely loved my v6, but one thing I always felt was like I was always trying to catch up to a gt. I know have a 2005 gt and love it, and even though stock it is faster than my modded v6, I honestly have to say I loved my v6 just as much
