help with CAI
A metal tube is a metal tube, people swear that it matters.
Buy a cheap ebay one and replace the filter with the K&N filter, I did that with my six and with my GT both times and no fitment or placement issues for me.

When I was researching this, I found an excellent article on this subject. It had dyno comparisons of 5-6 of the most popular set ups. The test was done on a GT, not a V6. There are some differances - but they're small.

Based on a number of facters, including Cost vs Power, I chose the Mac kit. It looks good, was easy to install, and did seem to make a differance.
But, I also did a computer tune at the same time. IMO, and CAI that does not require a computer tune is a waste of money. And, I think the computer tune is more important than a CAI (unless you live in Phoenix).
