Trying to get my 4.2 build started good, 3.73s and tlock, finally got a tuner. thats about it for now from me.

i have the pipes for a dual exhaust setup i got over a year ago, i just havent done anything with it. i need to replace my ticky headers first.
gona get shorty`s, and hi-flow catted h and uses magnaflows.

i ordered an intake spacer today

 

torch a cheaper why to fix that ticking header without getting expensive aftermarket shortie headers is to get headers from a 94-98 v6 and bolt them in. just a cheaper option if you cant go long tubes

 

yea but i have yet to find some.
hey you have the sct tuner right? does the performance tune give a good jump in power?
im guna pick one up this weekend if this guy still has it.

 

I picked mine up used and it needed changes so it shouild be on the way back from sct anyday, then im contacting Justin at vmp for the 93 performance tune. When all is said and done I will let you know how it feels. Keep in mind I have a 5spd with full long tube exhaust and 3.73 gears. If you get it and you have an auto its supposed to make them shift harder but ive never owned or tried modding an auto.

It makes the auto pull noticeably harder from 0 to 120. Makes it more fun to drive overall.

 

My tuner made a noticeable difference... The biggest thing was how much better it shifted.

On a different note, I ordered a set of smoked fogs today guys HIDS coming soon also along with some other stuff XD
