Mmk, I got a sound clip of the car now, and I plan on getting sound/vid clips with the Lts with tru-duals then with the x pipe just to compare the sounds. figured that would be interesting to hear

 

what kinda mufflers you using six?

 

SAMMICHES. yeah LTs really aint to bad. take out the intake so passenger side is visible, take of the y pipe or mid pipe whatever u had before, the only bitch is the EGR tube honestly, and getting the headers up and lined up for putting the bolts in. PB blast the header bolts, EGR bolt, o2 sensors the night before your gonna work on it then again in the morning before you work on it, should be all set

Right now I have true duals with Blowmaster 40's

 

Everyone says x pipes sound ricey. But I've heard an o/r x with lt's and I forget which mufflers exactly on one of our cars, sounded awesome! Crazy good. Definitely "exotic" at high rpm's but different. I like it.

i finally coverted to true duals today using some single chamber flowmasters i had lying around.

OMG THE SOUND IS DISGUSTING!
it sounds like running with an open y pipe. im smitching to flowmaster 40s or something else asap!

adding a h pipe tomorow to see if it changes the sound.
