95 Cobra R hood didnt have the bump/slits like the 2000 did. I think that is what they are talking about.

Thanks man. It's really not bad. I tried to get a pic. inside the car of the rise, but the camera decided to die on me, I'll get one when the Splitter gets put on.

Funny isn't it? Ever had your splitter off? My 'install' kit consists of 2 bolts, 2 screws, 2 spacer things, 6 washers and 10 Feet of 3M tape and the splitter doesn't have the first pre-drilled hole in it :s

I've done everything to the car myself, but this seems rather intimidating for some reason...

 

Also, I took some time this morning before work to finally install my rear sway. Not as drastic of a difference as I was expecting, but I definitely noticed and like it

 

It's been off... not sure I would say "I had it off". I ripped it off a few times during hard braking on the track and ran over it. (Hey, those things are hard core tough!!)


Bolts/spacers go in the middle to support the lip at the gap under the center. I put a few screws in at the trailing edge (in front of the front wheel) and a lot of tape or sometimes I use a stronger DOW 795 sealant (silicone based in a tube).

 

well i got out to the track today, and came to the conclusion my 18s slowed me down a bit, but damn did i get a good launch, every single run! best time tonight was 14.9. kinda sucks that i went from 14.6 to 14.9, but im very happy with consistent 2.1xx 60 foots! tires grip great, 2nd gear chirps/breaks loose just a LITTLE bit but grabs right back up.

And so far my best time at the track was 9.98 in the 8th loosing traction leaving the tree. Not sure what that equals in the 1/4
