As for my hood, I bought it used (1 month old). It was on a black Cobra prior to my car.

It's a coupe. So should I just get the Sportlines then rather than waiting for someone to sell the specific springs for the vee sixxx?

No. The sportlines are too low for a daily driver, personally.

Eibach Pro-Kit, H&R springs, or the UPR Pro-Kit by Eibach ( maybe able to get them cheaper on ebay)

Or you can always get flamed and cut your stock springs

I dont see a problem with it. Im doing it when I can get some C/C plates.

Is it a good idea to use loctite on the big bolts that hold the caliper bracket?

reasoning behind this thought:

I don't see a problem with it either, I cut my front springs and personally like the amount of drop and the ride quality. But there are several people who think its as bad as heating them...
