Improved idler set up looks like this. See how it moves the belt to the side to clear the radiator hose? Rico added an even larger idler pulley for more blower pulley contact. I'll see if I can find my pic of it.

i dont understand. i couldnt go any larger with my idler....it hit the alt. pulley.

anyways matt, i locked the other thread so you cant answer my question there lol. but just think about it and let me know. i dont know if i can see 465hp with the stock pulley.

I think with what you have going, the stock blower pulley and a stock crank pulley should be close. What would be about 12/13 psi will translate to about 10 or so with your top end set up. That combined with the longer stroke will be a tq |\/|ONSTER.

As for Rico's - he got a GM idler from Napa (or someplace similar). I'm still looking for the CD with all the pics from the Toys for Tots run... he put it on after his tune. It's SUPER close, but it doesn't touch the atl pulley.

Do both, start with the big one, then step down.

Take the pulley and a puller with you.

We swapped out O2 sensors on the dyno when Rico did his.
