There are a few ways to mount a front plate without drilling.

go for the CCmustang bracket- the 3 Sponys w/o a front plate area run them(when we have to!)

 

Im getting excited guys. Go back to work on Tuesday. Come home like a week and a half later, order parts.

Forged pistons from SSM
Gaskets, seals, bearings, etc for 4.2
Find T5, order clutch, pedal assembly, etc
Pull 3.8 and 4R70W
Pull 7.5, clean and paint, reinstall
order extra M112 parts and install

I'm excited for you Fink.

And I need some advice from some of you older gents in here. As a few of you know my parents recently purchased a beach house, basically in a college neighborhood where I'd be living during school. I'm not living there yet but I had a party there over the past weekend. Wasn't anything crazy at all compared to other houses around here, probably 30 people, but the house was prettyyy messy in the morning. I obviously was going to clean it all up and it would look good as new no real damage or anything. Well I had to bring a girl back to campus then was coming back to clean with a few buddies in that short time frame my father showed up to drop some stuff off. Well he flipped, beyond belief. The house looked worse than it was, he thought there was permanemt damage to the walls and such when in fact the only "damage" was one small ink spot on one of the mattresses. They think it was some like 100 people rager and I didn't know everyone there, they won't listen to a thing I say and I've never seen them more pissed. I cleaned the house, obviously, and everything cleaned up as it was before anyone came over. Am I wrong in thinking that I shouldn't be getting bitched at as much as I am, I understand they're mad but its a whole different level and I feel like it really wasn't the worst thing in the world. Anyone?....

 

Did you let them know you were going to have a few people over? Was it basically cups/bottles/cans all over the place or were there couch cushions and chairs all over the place?

Ive had a couple parties at my rents house when they werent there, maybe like 20 people max. They never said a word to me. I was even smoking in the house, just sprayed some febreze all over the place every hour.



Im still thinking(havent made up my mind) of going with a Tubular K member and coil overs in the front. Definitely getting some LCA's, I want to find a 8.8 and build it up so I can swap it for a IRS (if I find someone local that wants to do it). Basically the car is going to be torn apart and almost everything is going to be cleaned and painted that has rust on it.
