Well if you do, just do it right. I dont know a lot about the process, but ive seen very nice wheels get ruined from daily wear-and tear after being irresponsibly painted, and they looked atrocious! Just makes sure not to go the cheap route, and my 2 cents is, black or red on white looks good! Saw this one car with red stripes, and red rims on white, and thought "cool, what a combo"
Just my opinion, but still like ur rims the way they are.

Ahh Man!
Dont hate the DSLR!
I bought a Rebel XTi a couple years ago and moved way way up.
I use a 1D Mark III and wouldnt ever go back.
There is no point N shoot that shoots sharper, cleaner, quicker, w/ High DR or with as many options and DOF as my camera and many lenses.
Also, my 1DIII doesnt have an "Auto" mode. >:] Pure Sports Pro Shooter goodness.
Canon's lineup of entry level DSLR's is great and you get all the awesome lenses that comes with have a Canon DSLR, well as long as you have cash.
I went to the XTi after being pissed off with all the crappy results I was getting with the supposed best P&S's.
Some examples of what I have done with my 1DIII and some at the bottom with my old 40D which is all stuff that cant be done with a P&S without major editing.
Manual Control

My old kickass portable lighting studio.

Insane Bokeh/DOF (Depth of Field)

Awesome Dynamic range

Ultra Sharp Macro with my studio lights and Canon EF 100mm Macro and 24-105mm IS L

Subject Isolation thanks to DOF

Quick shutter speeds to prevent blur from subject movement.

Better Dynamic Range for better HDR photos

Yeah, I know I am crazy but I love photography.
If you want to see more of my stuff just check out my flickr, none of it is paid work though. I dont display paid work usually.
