Wouldn't that fall under a "used" intake?

And it's not even a clean weld job. A grinding wheel and powder coat (or even silver rattle can) would get it closer to a $500 intake (still not $850).

http://www.dragway.com/ basically a wednesday night thats on a friday night, gates open at 5, racing 6-10 pm but its a weekend night so i can actually go without having to get up to early which is the main reason i dont go to the saturday morning test and tunes. Exactly, or Refurb but not New.

Is it just me or do I see no internal signs of a real cut and weld when looking into the plenum?

You're right. I don't see the cuts to port the entire length of the upper intake's runners.

i dont care what they did to that, i still wouldnt pay 850 for that. is what they "supposedly" did even worth the price?

I suspected when I saw it that he was faking a cut and weld.


Picture #3 shows no signs of the cut or weld from the inside.
Picture #5 shows no signs from porting from the inside.
