I'd try to go 50% or lighter on the windshield. It'll look really clean too. If you can, try to find out what brand and type of tint was used on your other windows so when you get the windshield done it will match.

Usually tint shops put a sticker between the tint and the glass at the lower rear corner of the door glass.
And I jsut looked at NM law, you can't legally tint the whole windshield, but you're registered in VA. If you go to VA, you can only have 50% on the front windows and 35% on the back. VA and NM have the same law for the windshield, nothing below the "AS-1" line. If you look about 3" down from the top corner of the windshield you'll see the "AS-1" marking.

ppl around here dont pay any attention to the tint laws. one of my friends has 5 all the way around including the front. the cops dont really bother him to much. i think i might do 50. that sounds good.
