I'd try to go 50% or lighter on the windshield. It'll look really clean too. If you can, try to find out what brand and type of tint was used on your other windows so when you get the windshield done it will match.

Going with a different brand can affect the overall look.

 

ok. how would i find out the brand when i wasnt the owner that put it on the car. would there be a stamp or something that tells me what it is?

 

I actually found a 0% tint that blocks 99% UV just like 5% would without decreasing visibility.

And let's see, shirt's unbuttoned, showing some leg, oh yeah, matt's ****ed.

 

thats crazy. lol. in my defense i have another shirt on underneath, the leg shown is not inappropriate. lol. if his gf has a problem she can come to me.

 

Usually tint shops put a sticker between the tint and the glass at the lower rear corner of the door glass.

And I jsut looked at NM law, you can't legally tint the whole windshield, but you're registered in VA. If you go to VA, you can only have 50% on the front windows and 35% on the back. VA and NM have the same law for the windshield, nothing below the "AS-1" line. If you look about 3" down from the top corner of the windshield you'll see the "AS-1" marking.

 

ah ok. ill have to look. ppl around here dont pay any attention to the tint laws. one of my friends has 5 all the way around including the front. the cops dont really bother him to much. i think i might do 50. that sounds good. thanks for the help. im out for the night. adios amigo!
