I like that over the full tinted lights. Then again, I hate giving the cops something easy to pull you over for just to run a fine tooth comb over the rest of the car for police general fund income.

 

dont do the tails full- you have red, so dont do them at all, or just the trim like I ahve.

 

How did you do them?

 

Someone sells the vinyl trim, rockcitygraphics or something. But my tails are tinted now with the smoked 3M layover tint from autobadges. I like them but they could be a little darker, not too dark though. I don't want any trouble from the 5-0. But I don't know how long it will be before I do that stuff, I want to do some performance work, longtubes and rear end, this year.

I agree with you. I hate the trim look personally. I want them a little darker but the last thing I need is trouble with the cops cause of dark tail lights. I want to get some performance stuff done like I said then I think I'm going to do the tails, area I between, spoiler, side markers, lower valance, and like 25% tint all around.

 

well i have had blackout tint on my tails for over a year and a half now and have had no problems from the cops, even when i was pulled over they never mentioned it
