I have a set from vvme and a ballast messed up the other day. While they where in I had they were 6000k hi/lo from vvme and I loved them. Although I have thought about putting in the 8000k bulbs.

Almost a year. they are still good but I took them out beacuse the past few nights while they were in and I'd mash breaks the passenger side would flicker and my cd player would turn on and off. took them out and problem solved.

I have 8000k from vvme. They're alright, not that bright. Maybe I have to aim them properly or something. I like the look of 8000k headlights and yellow fogs but I think when I have the money I might just get 6000k's for the headlights and fogs.

I'm running 6k's in my headlights and foglights, it's a clean white, I don't like the blue tint you get above 6k. I got mine from andperformance.com, the guy that owns it is local to me and gave me a good deal, he even hand delivered them to me on a nasty stormy day! I haven't had any issues with them, they're more than bright enough, and I don't get any flicker.

Yeah, but a little more complex to wire up and make the wiring clean. I don't have any issues using my stock housings.

Well my stock housing lenses aren't too clean, thats the only issue. Kindof hazy and scratched. I need to get some smoked clear corners soon.

I just polished mine up. Started with some 1500grit to remove the clearcoat, then 2000grit to remove the 1500grit marks, then went on to a heavy rubbing compound on a slightly firm buffing wheel, then used PlasticX on a soft buffing wheel, they look good as new. It takes maybe 2 hours to do both and get them absolutely perfect.
